about

A web development practice, not a website factory

MikeWillDoIt builds websites, online stores and applications for businesses and organisations — most of them in Accra and across Ghana, some of them further afield. The work is custom: built for the business it belongs to rather than adapted from a template and handed over.

what we do

The work

The core of it is web development and design: business websites, ecommerce stores, admin dashboards and cross-platform mobile apps. Around that sits the work that keeps those things useful — redesigns for sites that have aged badly, speed optimisation, ongoing maintenance, branding and CRM setup.

Tools follow the project rather than the other way round. WordPress where a team needs a familiar editor, custom builds where speed or functionality demands it, cross-platform frameworks where an organisation needs both app stores without funding two products. We don't position ourselves as a specialist in any single platform, because that tends to mean recommending it whether or not it fits.

how we work

The way projects run

  1. Understand the goal first

What the site actually has to achieve — enquiries, sales, credibility — before anything is designed.

  2. Scope in writing

What is being built, what it costs and how long it takes, agreed before work starts.

  3. Build in the open

A live preview link from early on. You watch it come together rather than waiting for a reveal at the end.

  4. Test properly

On real devices and real connections, not just a fast laptop.

  5. Hand over completely

Documentation, training and full access. You own the site, the hosting and the accounts outright.

principles

What we hold to

  • You own everything at the end — code, hosting, domain and accounts. No lock-in.
  • Honest scope, including telling you when you don't need what you asked for.
  • Speed treated as a requirement, not an optimisation done later if there's budget.
  • Built for phones and mobile data first, because that's where your customers are.
  • No inflated claims, invented statistics or borrowed testimonials.
  • Plain language in every conversation, including the technical ones.

where we work

Accra, Ghana, and remotely

Most clients are in Accra and across Ghana. Projects run remotely by default, which means businesses outside the capital work exactly the same way as those inside it — and makes international projects straightforward where the timezone overlap works.

We operate as a service-area practice rather than a walk-in office, so there is no showroom to visit. Contact is by phone, email or WhatsApp, and everything is documented in writing as the project runs.
