case study
Becks Cuisine — a catering site where the food does the selling
Give an established Accra catering business a website that could win corporate and wedding work, and an admin system so bookings and orders stopped living in personal chats.

the problem
What needed solving
Catering is sold visually — the decision is substantially made by looking at the food — but most catering sites bury photography behind text. The operational half of the problem was separate: enquiries and orders were arriving through scattered channels with no single place to see what had been committed to.
the approach
How we solved it
A cinematic, photography-led front end that puts the food first, paired with an admin dashboard so the business could manage bookings and orders in one place. The public site sells; the dashboard runs the operation behind it.
Photography-led design
Layouts built around large food imagery rather than treating photos as decoration.
Menu and services structure
Catering categories organised the way clients actually shop — corporate, weddings, everyday.
Event booking
An enquiry and booking route designed for events rather than single orders.
Admin dashboard
A private interface for managing bookings, orders and menu content.
Order tracking
Order status visible without a phone call.
WhatsApp integration
A direct WhatsApp route, matching how the business's customers prefer to make contact.

the hard part
Challenges
Large food photography and fast mobile loading pull in opposite directions, and the audience is heavily mobile. The build leaned hard on image optimisation and sizing so the visual impact survived without the page becoming slow on mobile data.

Measured outcomes
We don't publish performance figures for this project because analytics weren't in place from the start, and quoting numbers we can't substantiate would be worthless to you. The site is live and linked above — the most useful thing we can offer is that you go and judge it yourself.

A website should do work: bring in enquiries, answer the questions your customers keep asking, and make your business look like the serious operation it is.

Most visitors decide whether a business looks credible within seconds of the page loading, and they make that judgement on a phone.

Websites are not finished objects.
